Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) for hair loss, thinning & restoration works similarly to PRP treatments for skin rejuvenation in that it uses your growth factors from your blood to activate dormant stem cells (asleep) in the skin. It attempts to promote the hair cells to multiply during the hair growth cycle and prolong the growth phase while increasing hair follicle size, the thickness of the skin level, and the number of follicles in the skin.

Topical numbing cream will be applied to the scalp before the procedure begins. A sample of your blood will be taken and spun in a centrifuge where the platelet-rich plasma will be separated from the red and white blood cells. The plasma will then be introduced into your skin with tiny injection needles.
Most people will require 2-3 treatments to see maximum results, spaced approximately four to six weeks apart. Results can be slow – think of it as a long-term investment rather than a short-term one. This is because the skin is growing new cells and regenerating the old ones.
We recommend doing one treatment a month for three consecutive months with sessions every 6 to 12 months afterward.
